Quack-ack-ack-ack-ack-ack!

Peter Carlson's paean to the so-called 'Real Facts' on Snapple bottle caps in Monday's Washington Post opened with a doozy of an example: 'A duck's quack doesn't echo.'  Huh?  I beg to differ.  If a duck's quack doesn't echo, I'd sure as heck like to know what this is. (Don't you hate it when the fact-checkers go on vacation?)
