Turklebaum Redux

Remember the grisly tabloid tale of New York proofreader George Turklebaum, whose untimely death by heart attack wasn't noticed by coworkers for five days? Poor Mr. Turklebaum renamed 'Harry' for no particular reason is now the subject of an Australian TV commercial, appropriately called 'Dead End Job' (Windows Media Player required), aimed at recruiting new students for Edith Cowan University in Perth. 'True story,' the narrator says after a brief recounting of the tale. Chalk it up to artistic license. More.
