Jamie Oliver Update

By , About.com GuideNovember 17, 2003

Follow me on:

It appears retailer Boots.com has indeed been hoaxed. The cropped image on Boots' Website purporting to represent Jamie Oliver's 2004 calendar looks nothing like the actual product depicted on the publisher's home page, Danilo.com (see thumbnail at right).

So, Boots... where did that phony image come from? [See update]

(1) Martyn Dale says:

There appears to be some confusion over Jamie’s “willy pic”.

The image was printed in the “Boots Gift Guide” Christmas 2003, page 158.

It was “photoshopped” by a refengeful proof-reader,recently fired.

It’s no urban legend – it’s 100% REAL – it was printed and sent out to thousands of “Boots” customers. I still have a copy!!!!!!!
