I was told about this at our family Dr. and have been doing lots of research. Our girls are 15 & 16 and one of them have heard about these bracelets. She does wear them too. And like many of you teens that have written before me she thinks it’s stupid the whole idea. I agree, but there are lots of girls out there with low self-esteem looking for love/attention and this maybe the way for them to break through. i have gone to a christian school all my life and i found out about this game at a christian camp when i was only in grade 5…turned out the kids and teens there were playing it and i found out that september it had been being played at my school since the 90’s…its a common game as far as i know…i chose to stay on the first level but now every time i see a preteen or teen walking around with a bunch of one color of those jelly bracelets on, i realize that game is still going on to this day

I am in middle school and i wear these bracelets and i know what every color means but just because i know doesn’t mean i will do it. my guy friends mess around about it and they have broken a few, and i just say in you dreams and give them a hug instead. Wow it’s great to see those cheap things are still causing problems haha…I am 22 and that used to be a symbol of “rave” style parties I’d go to. We used to chew on them to keep from grinding teeth associated w/ ecstasy use.

I have been wearing two black rubber bracelets linked together for about a month, just for the vintage style.
