Former TV weatherman Ryan Towell just announced the launch of the Groundhog Day Blog, a chronicle of his journey to Gobbler's Knob in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to witness the town's annual Groundhog Day festivities and, in his words, "see another type of weather forecaster at work." He's referring, of course, to wiley woodchuck Punxsutawney Phil, who'll be rousted from his burrow on February 2 to look for his shadow. According to legend, there'll be six more weeks of cold weather if he sees it.
