'So I Volunteered...'

A Houston resident describes his purported experiences in the George R. Brown Convention Center helping "unappreciative" Hurricane Katrina evacuees, the majority of whom he describes as "thugs and lifetime lazy ass welfare recipients" (and worse). Among the many good reasons to doubt the veracity of this hateful, racist diatribe is the fact that other folks who helped Katrina evacuees in Houston have shared their experiences, too — and virtually all of them say the exact opposite.  Read more.   Discuss.
