For the past month, folks in the U.K. have been passing around a chain letter promising a free £60 gift voucher from Sainsbury's supermarket for everyone who forwards the message to at least 10 other people. Shocking as this may seem, it's a hoax.

The email is simply farming for email addresses. Surely the genuine email address to copy would be customerservices@jsainsbury.com?
To prove a point, I took all the email addresses from the FW headers, and replied to all 300 or so of them – explaining the error of their ways, and showing that the email address to copy is registered to a marketing company in the USA.
And if I can send them a warning email, then this compnay can now send them spam email.
We love email users like this – greed takes over from perception, and it plays straight into the spammers.
