Email Alert Claims NBC Show 'Mocks Christianity'

Curiously enough, the new TV series "The Book of Daniel" is described by both NBC and the Christian activist group the American Family Association in exactly the same way — its main character is a pill-popping Episcopal priest who seeks advice from Jesus on coping with his alcoholic wife, gay Republican son, and drug-dealing daughter — but the AFA characterizes the show as defamatory toward Christians while its creator, Jack Kenny, calls it a family drama in which the religion of the protagonist is incidental.  More...
