Ladies, have you been smearing "cancer-causing" goo on your lips your entire adult life without knowing it? That's the central claim in an email alert circulating since 2003 which lists several name-brand lipsticks that supposedly contain health-threatening amounts of lead. Did you know you can detect lead in your lipstick by scratching it with a gold ring? Or so they say...

Comments
Just received an email warning me about lead in lipstick. The email said to rub lipstick on your hand. Rub the lipstick with a gold ring. If the lipstick turns black, then there is lead in the lipstick. Mine turned BLACK. Is there a group law suit in the making?
Sincerely.
it is a hoax
*sighs*
I’m going to list credible links right here to prove once and for all that the silly chainmail is just to make people freaked out.

Next time, just use Google and find credible sources.
NOT a hoax….why dont you do some research before you hand out the Hoax card everytime you read something you dont like….Snopes is not a credible source.

read it
Have a blood test and it will tell you if you have lead in your system, or you can have hair analysis sent to a testing lab,you can tell what toxins have accumulated in the body tissue and they inform you what vitamins and minerals depleted.
