Email Petition: Stop the Pascua-Lama Gold Mine

This bit of armchair activism was inspired by the proposed "relocation" of three glaciers in the Andes Mountains on the border between Chile and Argentina to make way for a massive gold mining operation. Environmentalist say the plan may upset the ecosystem and pollute the water supply serving tens of thousands of indigenous farmers in the region.
