S.D. School Tries to Stamp Out Bigfoot Rumors
Tuesday August 15, 2006
In case you were wondering, the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology does not have the dead body of Bigfoot laid out on a slab anywhere on its premises. How do I know? A statement to that effect was issued last week by a spokesperson in response to Internet rumors claiming that the creature had been shot and killed on a nearby Indian reservation and taken to the school for examination.
Said the statement, "Despite receiving nearly $14 million in research and development funding in the 2006 fiscal year and having a wide array of cutting-edge research initiatives, the School of Mines has no facilities dedicated to Bigfoot or other cryptozoology research."
Loren Coleman notes that this and other rumors of captures and killings over the years "have not resulted [in] any concrete scientific evidence of Bigfoot."

It’s interesting that a state-funded, accredited university would make such a press statement. For a group of intellectuals that wasn’t such a smart move. It has only put them in the spotlight and fueled Bigfoot theorists.
Of course, if they do have a Bigfoot, they may be waiting to properly study it write loads of papers, and apply for a Nobel Prize.
All Info About the Paranormal
Put a Bigfoot body where your mouth is. Unless a body is found, Bigfoot can’t be proven to be real.
