Somebody made a booboo. A limited number of printable coupons for a free Starbucks iced grande beverage were distributed via email last week to company employees, who were encouraged to forward the message to family and friends. We know how these things go (although Starbucks apparently didn't, until now) -- before long, the coupons were showing up everywhere. It got so out of hand that the corporate office decided to rescind the offer. Read more...Update: Rival company Caribou Coffee announced yesterday that it will honor Starbucks' iced grande beverage coupons for one day only, September 8, at which time anyone presenting one of the coupons at a Caribou location will receive a free medium Cold Press iced coffee, iced Americano or iced tea.
