Facebook Hoax

Wednesday December 19, 2007
"Facebook is recently becoming very overpopulated," begins an urgent message purportedly signed by company founder Mark Zuckerberg. "There have been many members complaining that Facebook is becoming very slow."

What's the solution? Recipients must pass the message along to other users within two weeks to prove they're still active members. Otherwise their accounts will be deleted to make room for more. True or false?

It’s false. The sole method of forwarding this message, and to the best of my knowledge the original place it was posted is a facebook application known as Funwall, developed by Slide Inc., not Facebook.
