Obama vs. American Flag, ad Nauseam

Not only does Barack Obama refuse to salute the flag, Internet rumormongers inform us, but he also took the "disgraceful" measure of replacing it on the tail of his Boeing 757 campaign jet with an "Obama '08" logo.
"What American running for President of the United States would remove the symbol of his country?" this forwarded email asks.
It's a rhetorical question...

Is it just me, or does this guy have nothing better to do than go out of his way to try to defend Obama, all the while disclaiming people he knows not, who claim to have witnessed things he can have no knowledge of.
I can’t help but notice the extreme gap of free positive media coverage given to Obama over McCain. It seems as if you can’t avoid seeing him if you turn on the news anytime, anyplace. Never in a negative light as well; and I know that’s an opinion of mine, but good griefm it’s shameful just how slanted the media is towards the “Messiah.” get over it already. It’s not fair to McCain and it’s not right.
Yes, it’s just you. Did you actually READ the article or did you just go off on your tangent as soon as you realized that yet another Obama attack email was being debunked? This has nothing to do with “defending” Obama. It’s about separating the facts from the hype. Maybe you should read the complete article before you spout..
These rumors never seem to be about McCain, do they? I guess when you’re just another boring old white guy, people don’t bother making stuff up about you!
Obama is a disgrace!! Why would the American people want a man in the highest office of our country who will not salute our flag or touch our Bible? He won’t pledge our allegiance to the flag or do any of our traditions. What is wrong with America?? All I can say is that people had better wake up and think before they vote. His mother doesn’t even belive in God and he was raised Muslim whether he went to a Catholic school for a very short time or not. If we could see inside his REAL life we’d all see a different person. The troops in Iraq were very dissappointed by his visit. A friend of mine is there and saw how he acted when he was supposed to be visiting “them”. He is a shadow on America and Hollywood is the worst ones along with Oprah. Even she should know better.

My husband serves in the United States Army…he and I both have friends in the Afghanistan area with similiar stories of his “ruddness.” If Obama gets in office, us military families are screwed. Sad, because were the ones keeping America safe.
Wow Krist and friends. You are just amazingly obtuse. Obama was sworn in in the traditional Senate ceremony on the family Bible (there are photos of him and family being greeted by Vice President Cheney), there is video for anyone caring to see of him leading the Pledge in the Illinois Senate.
Snopes.com, the grandaddy of the hoax debunkers, has all of this and more, with links to the video etc. But apparently you prefer to believe that the earth is flat and the moon shot was cooked up on a movie set.
I agree with selkie…You don’t see the Obama people slinging mud. The McCain people seem to be the only ones spreading rumors and inuendo. I can’t believe the pettyness of the Conservative campaign.
I cannot abide fear-mongerers, racists and the hyper conservatives. I am a God-fearing, pro-life, Bible-thumping Baptist who is so sick of all the lies being spread by the so-called “religious” right that I could scream. I KNOW what Jesus would do. I’m going to do the right thing on the 4th even if I am hated for it.
Whether or not OBAMA salutes the flag there are far more important reasons to suspect that he is evil and not to be trusted. All of his adult life he has associated with radical people and organizations which preach and follow an Anti-American line of hate America. Reverend Wright has preached against America for all the 20 years Obama called this man his pastor.
Additionally OBAMA was a key advisor to ACORN a group of urban- do-gooders in Chicago who implemented all sorts of illegal and questionable tactics in the several elections OBAMA won including the primary elections against Hillary.
OBAMA’s long term association with such people and organizations would prevent him from getting a security clearance at the CIA, NSA or FBI, yet the stupid voters are willing to place the whole security of the USA in the hands this radical person. If OBAMA is elected look for America to become a radical, freedom less nation such as NAZI Germany in the 1920s and 30s. It won’t happen over night but in 8 years it will. Many of our freedoms will be taken away, such as free speech which is already being eroded. The next will be a ban on private ownership of guns which was first proposed by Hitler.
In one caucus 90 blacks were bussed into another state from ILL and voted in a precinct which had less then 10 blacks living in it. In another precinct they bussed in blacks who destroyed ballots so they used post-its which were collected in buckets. In the end there were more votes for OBAMA then voters registered in the precinct.
ACORN is the same has HITLER’s Brown Shirts were in the 1920s performing acts of violence to intimidate people. None of this bodes well for America.
