In-n-Out's 60th Year Anniversary is Wednesday, October 22nd. All hamburgers will be sold for 25 cents, Cheeseburgers 30 cents, Fries 15 cents, and drinks are 10 cents!!! So mark your calendars!It's a hoax. A notice posted on In-N-Out Burger's website confirms that its 60th anniversary indeed takes place on October 22, but the rumor about a lower-priced menu is false.

All of these type emails are a hoax. Would be nice, though….
Makes one wonder about what compels somebody to sit down, type this out and send it, knowing it’s not true. Maybe somebody had it in for the chain and wanted to cause some mischief.
They are not a chain. They are family owned and operated.
I wouldn’t support them even if it were true. In-n-out wouldn’t open up near usc on figueroa because this gracious family who own’s it claimed that it was in the “hood” and it would never do business in that environment. That’s why Fatburger opened up in its place! Chumps…

@ Lucy: Just because they aren’t franchises doesn’t mean they’re not a chain. There are over 100 locations, ITS A CHAIN.
I ordered 100 burgers for my office and it came out to almost the full price. They did give me a discount though when they hear about the internet scam.
Their response to the rumor is absurd.
“We’ve always tried to keep our prices as low as possible…On of the ways we accomplish this is by not discounting and our anniversary is no exception”
Total PR bs. I’m inclined to boycott In-N-Out for such a ludicrous statement.
