Another weekend, another celebrity death hoax.
On Sunday, American rap artist Lil Wayne (real name Dwayne Carter) was reported shot dead by four gunmen in a bogus "BBC News story" that never really aired. Like similar online stories claiming Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus, actor Tom Cruise, and comedian Sinbad were dead, the report was an Internet prank.
Another erroneous rumor circulating this weekend claimed that comedian Katt Williams is dead.
