Hoax: 'Simon Ashton' Hacker Alert

Emailed "hacker warning" picking up steam in recent weeks urges recipients not to accept messages or friend requests from an alleged identity thief named Simon Ashton. Alerts like these are a dime a dozen and, as likely as not, have more to do with besmirching reputations than preventing actual hacker attacks.

Yes, just got the Simon Ashton E-mail hoax from a guy in New Zealand.

First thing I did was search “Simon Ashton”.
