You all know the old story about the kid with the backpack sneaking a baby penguin out of the zoo, right? Well, it's back, this time in Chattanooga, where officials at the Tennessee Aquarium are calling reports of a penguin being stolen right out from under their noses by a conniving youngster an "urban legend."
Assistant curator Kevin Calhoon explains in great detail why such a thing is unlikely ever to happen (via Zoo & Aquarium Visitor).
For good measure, students at the University of Tennessee created a tongue-in-cheek video reenactment of the non-incident.
