A few online sources are reporting that Sarah Palin and husband Todd are getting a divorce.
"A National Enquirer story exposing previous affairs on both sides led to a deterioration of their marriage and the stress from that led to Palin's resignation as governor of Alaska," claims one such story on AlaskaReport.com.
Responding on Facebook, Palin spokesperson Meg Stapleton categorically denied it.
"Yet again," she wrote, "some so-called journalists have decided to make up a story. There is no truth to the recent 'story' (and story is the correct term for this type of fiction) that the Palins are divorcing. The Palins remain married, committed to each other and their family, and have not purchased land in Montana (last week it was reported to be Long Island).
"Less than one week ago, Governor Palin asked the media to 'quit making things up.' We appreciate that the more professional journalists decided to question this story before repeating it."

It’s obvious to me that Palin is behind these rumors. After all, she can’t win an election based on experience or intellect. She must prove that the “media” has lied to us. If we believe she really does read books & newspapers and understand foreign policy, but the bad guys will stop at nothing to destroy her, then maybe she can win more support. She might not know too much about geography or world issues or even know how to put a sentence together coherently, but she’s a very sly cookie. Just my opinion. Surprised I haven’t seen similar comments.

Kind of like Joe Biden, huh? He said so many boneheaded remarks during the election, that the liberal-run media decided to ignore, he is still way ahead in the “What was he thinking?” category.
