Camping’s interview read like a campaigning politicians – a lot of fluff but no stuff. He really didn’t offer anything except his own beliefs as proof or evidence to back up what he was saying.
I bet he still believes in the boogy man. Oh wait, that would be the devil.

I feel bad for the kids whose parents dragged them into this whole thing. There was this one woman in an interview telling her teenage daughter that “you’ll be going to hell while Daddy and I go to heaven. You haven’t properly accepted Jesus. Sorry, honey.” Nice, huh? That one made me feel sick. What kind of thing is that to tell your own child?

I like this old world a lot, messed up at times though it is. I’m glad it’s still around.

Wonder how those parents feel now. If they’re still willing to be blind followers of this false prophet, those kids should petition the court to be removed from their custody. Those “parents” could be putting those kids in physical danger if their cult leader turns out to be wrong again, which he WILL be. Think Kool-aid.

I feel like I live @ the center of the universe today. Why? Because Harold Camping lives barely a mile from me in ALAMEDA, California, 94501; in my parish, only blocks from the Roman Catholic church where I worship, St. Philip Neri’s! Our RCIA director reports that Harold Camping presided over her mother-in-law’s funeral, here in Alameda. I figure he came to his conclusions b/c the city of Alameda is SO corrupt & mismanaged! Harold just looked outside his Gibbons Drive home & generalized to the rest of the universe! SPN’s feast day is Thursday. maybe we’ll get the diocesan exorcist to banish his demons for him!

Harold Camping is so mean!

You tell me why people believe in this crap. Since you fell for it once, tell us what made you fall for it. And don’t be astonished that people believe in it, since you did. Although a gazillion people laughed at the whole thing.
