This particular piece of Internet insanity went über-viral on Twitter yesterday, to the point of eliciting a tweet-response from the almighty McDonald's Corporation itself.
Pictured is a sign allegedly posted in a McD's restaurant which reads: "As an insurance measure due in part to a recent string of robberies, African-American customers are now required to pay an additional fee of $1.50 per transaction."
Racist? Yes. Offensive? Yes. Hoax? Most definitely.
