Today's celebrity death hoax is brought to you yet again by "Global Associated News" (aka FakeAWish.com), the prank website that assists users in fabricating "news stories" about famous people dying in car crashes, snowboarding accidents, or falling off cliffs, etc.
The item in question, enthusiastically repeated by Twitter and Facebook users, states the following:
Pro golfer Tiger Woods was found unresponsive in his luxury vacation rental house near the Roko Ki golf resort in the Dominican Republic earlier today and later pronounced dead from what appears to be natural causes.
Which seems just a bit on the far side of plausible given that Tiger Woods is in Sydney, Australia right now, competing in the Australian Open golf tournament.
