Beware 'Free Starbucks Gift Card' Scam on Facebook

Facebook users, don't click on links in your newsfeed promising a "free Starbucks gift card." If you do, you'll be asked to share said link with your friends before being whisked off to fill out an online survey. There's no free gift card at the end of this process. The folks who tricked you into spamming your friends will make money; you won't. Forewarned is forearmed.

Thanks for this article. I’ve just received this kind of ad, but even on my phone… how did they know my number?….. it leads to a strange website where I would be given a gift card for $50.
