Please Ignore 'Vodka Tampon' Hype

Every few years we hear yet again that teens everywhere are partaking in the so-called "trend" of inserting vodka-soaked tampons into their private parts to get drunk. I don't buy it. While I have no doubt that some young people have tried this at one time or another, especially given the incessant Internet chatter about it, the notion that this behavior is rife among teenagers is based on no real evidence at all.
