Rumor posted on Facebook earlier today:
Fact: No such sign was posted in Harwin Central Mart this year.
Fact: A sign resembling this description was posted on the door of a Muslim-owned store in September 2009, but it was misrepresented then and now as a tribute to a 9/11 hijacker.
Fact: There was no 9/11 hijacker named Imam Ali.
Fact: The Imam Ali referred to in the sign died in 661 A.D. Shiite Muslims commemorate his martyrdom annually on the 21st day of Ramadan, which, in 2009, coincidentally fell on September 11.
