Have people really found mold in pouches of Capri Sun fruit drink? Yes. The manufacturer says it's bound to happen from time to time because the product contains no preservatives. Is it harmful? The manufacturer says no. Read more...
That is just so nasty i want to throw up i found mold in my drink yesterday. Well it tasted nasty so we riped it open to find white MOLD i was soo gross out yuck
This is our Picture and it is very real! This did happen in our house, not only this one but we found 3 more in the box the same way when we cut them open. No apparent damage to box and my husband squeezed them very tightly checking for any leaks and there were NONE. When we cut them open found three more this way. Capri Sun NEEDS TO MAKE CHANGES. Saying its a bread type mold and it is not dangerous is not good enough. Some kids are highly allergic to mold, and we should be able to give our kids a drink without this gunk being in it.
Yeah i found mold in my caprisun package that i purchase from a local costco a few years ago… i noticed that the drink tasted usually awful and when i cut the pakage open, there was a big glob of mold in the drink.. i get discusted everytime i think about it… i didnt report it, which i should have, and sadly i still drink them on occassion. However, seeing that this is a commonly reported problem, kaft foods need to start making the packages clear so that people can see what the hell we and our kids are drinking…
my family and i hav been drinking capri sun pouches for many years and we have never had any reason to think they would be bad. we still feel the same, we will be drinking the good tasting pouches for manying years. “you see mold on bread so does that mean you won’t eat bread again.”
