Hi, and thanks for visiting Urban Legends at About.com. If you have questions, comments, or would like to submit a hoax, rumor, or urban legend for investigation, you'll find information below on how to contact me.

Please note: If you're looking for basic site information, be sure to read the FAQs below before emailing. You'll likely find that whatever you're looking for is already at your fingertips.

    F.A.Q.
Where can I check the validity of the latest Internet legends, rumors and hoaxes circulating via email?
First, visit the Current Legends & Hoaxes page to see if the item you're looking for is listed there. More of the same, including links to all of the traditional (pre-Internet) urban legends covered on the site, can be found in the Topic Index. Finally, there's a SEARCH BOX at the top of this and every page on the site where you can type in keywords related to your topic of interest.

I received an email or heard a story that I suspect is a hoax or an urban legend. How do I send it to you for verification?
Please visit my Submissions page for full instructions. All contributions are welcome.

Can I contact you directly via email?
Of course! My email address is urbanlegends.guide@about.com
I look forward to hearing from you!
