Just wanted to add something about the message dealing with cruise control and hyproplaning. I have a 1997 Oldsmobile with cruise control. When the windshield wipers are turned on to normal/high speed, the cruise control is automatically disabled. Obviously the industry recognizes the dangers of using cruise in heavy rain.
