Re: Hanoi Jane

Please don't think I am indulging in the pointless exercise of "shooting the messenger," but my father fought for 2.5 years in the South Pacific. My uncles fought Rommel in Africa, and my brother was drafted for Vietnam. Never will I, nor should anyone, forget that a traitor is a traitor. No matter how rich or beautiful or skillful this person is at "redefining her life".
The Jewish community wouldn't feel good about letting the world "forgive and forget" the events of WWII. I think Ms. Fonda should forever wear a scarlet letter "T" if not on her person, then most assuredly on her reputation. No amount of money, fame or influence should unravel that letter.
Of course, she should certainly be named to the century's Most Infamous Women list.
