Subject: FW: Something cool that Xerox is doing

If you go to this web site, http://www.letssaythanks.com/ , you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services.

How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!!

Take a minute and send a card to our troops... thanking them for keeping us safe and free!

This is a great site. Please send a card. It is FREE and it only takes a second.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our guys and gals over there need to know we are behind them

Comments: True. Let's Say Thanks was launched by the Xerox Corporation in June 2006 to facilitate the sending of thank-you cards from citizens at home to American service personnel stationed overseas. The instructions are simple:

  1. Choose a card design (of which there are many, all submitted by children).
  2. Type a message, your name, and your hometown.
  3. Click to send.
Completed cards are printed out and delivered monthly along with care packages from Give2theTroops, a non-profit organization. The cards cannot be addressed to specific individuals, nor are senders allowed to include personal information such as mailing or email addresses (downloadable versions are available for those who wish to send personal cards to friends or relatives).

See the resources below for more information.
