Hopefully, it's obvious enough what the preceding images aren't — namely photos of actual mobile ads on actual trucks driving down the road.

What they are is explained, in German, on the Web site of the 2005 Rhino Awards for rolling advertising. German ad agencies submitted pictorial designs for proposed "RollAd" campaigns, which were then evaluated by a panel of judges for awards handed out on October 14, 2005. Among the preceding images are several of the top-rated entries.
