Comments: True. The 3M Corporation, makers of Post-It Notes, announced in July 2004 that it will create the "World's Largest Pink Ribbon" by applying a pink Post-It Super Sticky Note to a giant billboard in Times Square for each of the first 75,000 people to respond to its charitable campaign on behalf of the City of Hope Cancer Center. The company will donate a corresponding $75,000 to the Center, as well.
Those who wish to participate can do so by calling 1-866-5-POST-IT or by logging on to the 3M Website.
The giant ribbon will be unveiled the first week of October 2004.
