Victoria's Secret Chain Letter

Contributed by The Rickmans, 04/03/00:

My name is Victoria Johnson, founder of Victoria's Secret. In an attempt to get our name out to more people in the rural communities where we are not currently located we are offering a $50 gift certificate to anyone who forwards this email to 9 of their friends. Just send this email to them and you will recieve a an email back with a confirmation number to claim your gift certificate.

Sincerely
Victoria Johnson
Founder of Victoria's Secret

Guide's note:  Another freebie hoax to clog our inboxes! There is no "Victoria Johnson" associated with Victoria's Secret. The company is owned by Intimate Brands, Inc., whose CEO is Leslie H. Wexner.

This is one of dozens of bogus chain letters currently circulating by email. None of the "free stuff" offers are legitimate. All are hoaxes (see below).
