Emailed photos purportedly taken at Cross Lake, Louisiana show a gator moving through the water with a full-grown deer in its mouth.

They say Central Park isn't as dangerous as it used to be - or at any rate they were saying it until Saturday, June 16, 2001, when a small alligator was spotted lurking in the Harlem Meer, a small lake in the northeastern section of the park.
