A Mind of Simplicity

Re: Did Nostradamus Predict 9/11?
From: Mona

Although I enjoy reading your analysis on issues pertaining to Nostradamus, I can only rightly say that a quatrain should not be read with the perception that it was simply written by an individual with innocence, a mind of simplicity, or child-like perceptability.

In the City of God there will be a great thunder,
Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures,
the great leader will succumb,
The third big war will begin when the big city is burning.

- Nostradamus 1654

In the City of God
(could he be speaking of Jerusalem / Rome / or possibly Nazareth? In the time of Nostradamus, where would they perceive God to be?)

there will be a great thunder
(could he be expressing this in terms of loud noises due to great tribulations? or as in an explosion that could be described in his terms as thunder?)

Two brothers
(would this be referring to Princess Diana's sons; the throne of England?)

torn apart by Chaos
(most recent fires, people running in the street, never know what is happening next)

while the fortress endures
(pertaining to the Royal family and their diligence on keeping strong with ways of life)

the great leader will succumb
(is this referring to Prince Charles letting his guard down and marrying?)

The third big War
(therefore referring to a conflict of great nations that has only happened twice in the record of the world)

will begin when the big city is burning
(therefore, referring back to the fact that it's not here yet until London is ablaze).
