To Mr. David Emery,
I just read, with amusement, the legend of Richard Gere and the gerbil. I'm glad that you, too, realize that this was pure fiction. I know for certain that it was. I was a doc at Cedars when Mr. Gere came into the ED for bleeding hemorrhoids, which ultimately led to the gerbil story.
