How I did it
It is a family tradition at our house. We try to do it as close to the equinox as possible. Always works on the equinox.
When I did it
I have tried it multiple times during the year, but have had no luck any time except at the equinox. I did it today 6 hours before the equinox and it worked. who knows, maybe I am psychologically blocking it from other times of the year...??
Lessons Learned
- I do not use wood table tops, since they have ridges
- I only use a very smooth surface, like a counter top.
- Some claim they have done it at other times of they year
- Some say it works both spring and fall
- All I know is that for me and my family, it has only worked in spring within 6 hours before or after the equinox.
