How I did it
Everyone was posting pictures on facebook about balancing brooms and eggs. I was curious so I went into the kitchen and got the broom. First time it stood on it's bristles and balanced. I wasn't to impressed because the bristles are about an inch and half wide. I reached into the refrigerator and grabbed an egg. On second try it stood on end. Then I research it and find that it's folklore and you can do it with patience and a pinch of salt. I didn't use anything just grabbed an egg and did it.
When I did it
Didn't even know when equinox was. People were putting pictures on Facebook so I gave it a try. It was March 7 so about 13 days early and it stood up with no problem. I grabbed my iphone and snapped a picture. I'll try on equinox for curiousity sake. Then try it next month to see for sure.
Lessons Learned
- Obviously I will have to try it at another date not near the equinox to see if it was true or that I can balance an egg every day of the year.
