How I did it
You can balance an egg on end EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE YEAR. This is not just an equinox thing - it makes absolutely no difference what day of the year it is.
When I did it
I do this as a demonstration to prove I'm right almost every time someone tries to tell me that you can only stand an egg during the equinox. I've probably done it during every month of the year by now.
Lessons Learned
- The reason you can stand eggs on end like this is because their shells aren't perfectly smooth, so they balance on the tiny little imperfections.
