- Really?? I can't believe I'm wasting my valuable time.. but I've had enough! Bush was a complete idiot that couldn't run fast enough out of his term.. He screwed us all. You, Me, him and her.. Then some idiot makes mockery of how a flower was layed on the ground? Are you kidding me? GAWD! We now have a Republican majority that is NOT going to allow anything that will let Obama look good. Get real people! You voted the pubbies in.. and they are doing exactly what they set out to do.. destroy our country. Thanks for nothing.

Just a thought...
- Personally, I think education is one of the most important things out there. Is it being treated as such? Not in the least. Obama has said a lot of things that he has not done, and yet he has tried. Not everything in the world can be done in 4 years. Obama, the poor guy, has inherited the mess of the previous two or three presidents, specifically Pres. George W. Bush. It will take a couple of decades to repair the damage done, and Obama will not be able to do that in just 4 years. And to the people whining about the Muslim Mosque at Ground Zero? Consider this. There was ALREADY a Mosque at Ground Zero before 9/11. So, technically, they were just asking to rebuild what was already there. I'm not saying I'm for it, or even remotely enthused by it, but I'm just pointing out that they have a right to build it. Just a side note: Before anyone fights back with an acid quote about how I must be Muslim, I am a devoted Christian...I just see the world a little more clearly than most.

- To those who say, Obama is not my president." this is just plain wrong. He is 'the' president. According to our democracy; majority rules. For 4 yrs. anyway. Now, do i agree with his policies? - My grief is that this country was ran in the whole, way b4 Obama took office. How dare the American people blame him for the actions of the presidents before him. Ya'll gave Bush 2 dam terms. It won't take 4 years to fix what was already jacked up. It will take a couple of decades! stop disguising your bigotry with the excuse of "he's not doing a good job". Give the man a chance. Hell we gave everyone else more than enough time to make it better it it did not happen so shut up and wait out the remainder of his term!

Let's Clarify Christianity & Our Fouding
- I read the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the US on July 4 every year. Just finished this year's reading. For those in this blog who don't seem to understand, here are a couple of important FACTS: 1. The Declaration of Independence has a number of references to God. 2. The Constitution has NO references to God. 3. The Declaration of Independence is a great document, but was meant to explain to anyone else in the world why the US Colonists were declaring independenc. In fact, it says so early in the document. It has nothing at all to do with the governance of the country. 2. The Constitution is the basis for our government, and only mentions religion twice--when stating that religion may not be a condition of government service and, in the Bill of Rights, which guarantees religious freedom and forbids any action regarding the establishment of a state religion. 3. The Founders, while mostly Christian, had a healthy distrust of religion.

Who do we believe on anything - anymore
- This is a matter of fact! The USA had never been attacked as we were on 9-11-01, death toll more than Pearl Harbor! How many attacks by Muslims before 9-11 on free societies and US Servicemen? The USA cannot bury their heads in the sand and pretend this is politically okay. It is not! We are the beacon of light to the world for freedom. If not, why WW I and WW II? Go to a Veterans Cemetary and see what has been done for this great nation! Visit a Veterans Hospital! This woman loves her country and how dare those who hate us do us harm! We were attacked by hatred! It is time we find men of honor to run our government instead of the ones who honor "party politics" over the needs of the country. The media makes it worse by taking party sides. The media keeps people stirred up by their words. Sometimes people do not realize what some of the journalist are doing with their words. - Where did Obama come from just before he leaqpt onto the national and subsequentlt obto the world stage? Chicago is a political hack's wetdream1 The political machine there has long been strong and devious...just any of your friends from that city. Yes, Obama inherited a mess...thanks to the progressive tendencies of Bush and the largely Democratic legislature we managed to elect in the beginning of the 21st century. Career politicians should be outlawed. Maybe we should outlaw career bureaucrats as well. I know we could potentially have a rough time of it without some experience on the hill, but we have already gone to hell, we just don't reqlize it. The debt this country has now amassed scares the heck out of me. It will be tough for our grandchildren to payoff debts this country now owes not to mention new debt. Most politicians don't even acknowledge the current debt load. The bills enacted or under legistative action look good on the outside, but will drag us down.

What makes a Christian/Christian nation?
- It is so hard to hear the division/hatred and disrespect/judgement of fellow Americans against one another. I can't see into another person's heart thus as a Christian I can't judge--as a matter of fact Jesus said not to. I can't hate my "enemy" but as to pray for my enemies--as a matter a fact Jesus said to. I can't write off anyone cause they've made mistakes--as a matter a fact Jesus washed Judas' feet and didn't "lay him out" in front of everyone plus He saved the prostitute Mary although she went back to it for awhile yet she was who Jesus first saw. I can't do anything better than LOVE--as a matter of fat the GREATEST of these is LOVE! I am saddened that many in our "Christian" nation claim that title based on their "works"--their judgement of others who don't think and believe as them. But a matter a fact Jesus loved and helped many who didn't think or believe like Him with one exception...they all learned to love like Him. When Americans start loving and accepting....
