open letter to obama

i would like to re-iterate some of the replies sent to you concerning this letter.Someone suggested that if you do not like the people(not Obama alone)that are running our country you should move to another country-maybe you will be happier yhere in your old age.Presidents do not make decisions on thei own-they rely on the advice of their cabinet members. When you ran P&G did you make all the important decisions on your own, because if you did,you must have been a real tyrant.

Do you know the law?

I just want to respond to the stupid and baseless charge that President Obama is not an American Citizen. Mr Pritchett, at your age and wwith your experience you should know that anyone, ANYONE born to an American citizen, no matter if they were born in this country or in China, Iraq or London, is an American citizen. Period. His mother was an American citizen therefore he is. Shame on you for spreading such a stupid lie!

Lou, you scare me...

Lou, you scare me because you buy into all the ultra extreme rightwing, redneck, neo con propaganda so easily, and can’t get past the fear that we all have, that America is going to have to change a little from the way it is has been, and become slightly more like all the other countries that have a few more controls and regulations, to keep from imploding due to the actions of our richest few “robber barons”. And understand that it takes an intelligent, charismatic leader that can encourage everyone to compromise, to make the transition happen. And you scare me because you, like many of our fellow countrymen, believe all this horse crap, hook, line, and sinker, and allow the “powers that be” to lead you around by your nose ring, enough even to waste your talents, creating these sophomoric rants, that get emailed around. Hopefully though, through free speech and information, like email and the internet, we will continue to grow and learn the truth, elect smart leaders, and survive thes

Educated Beyond Common Sense

It's sad; any and every time I read a piece that is even some what contrary to Obama, and there are comments, I get to see the "best and brightest" of the so called modern liberal intellectuals making asses of themselves freely and openly. Word usage, grammar and spelling all become important because in the event one is misused an attack is inevitable: "You are just a dumb whacko from bum screw...." "...can't understand anything that doesn't cluck, bark or mooo...." "...how can you judge when you MUST be a Bush lover...". It goes on and on. Not only do these attacks show extreme weakness on behalf of the attacker since their attack doesn't address the main issue, it actually leads the informed reader to believe that the attacker MUST suffer from a form of Common Sense Deficit Disorder (CSDD). In other words, they are OBLIVIOUS to the OBVIOUS or rather that have more intelligence than they can handle.

Lou makes no sense

"you want to change America to a European style country" Yes it is so bad, the Euro is high All carmakers are still in business while Fiat takes over bankrupt Chrysler. All Euro countries are ranked higher in health care (US is 37 ranking on the list). Everybody 5 to 7 weeks paid vacation, and with 25% less working hours and high Euro still able to compete with US. Safer cities. Free or as good as free education. Working with a balanced budget. yes it's bad with these Euro countries! "You want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg" like Enron, Bernie Madoff, GM, Chrysler, MCI, Airline industry, AIG etc. etc. Boy, do we have enjoyed all these golden eggs. It is amazing that Proctor & G is still afloat. It must have been in spite of this former CEO. Peter

100%

Obama is a usurper. He wasn't born here, yet is in office. Even then, only after spending over $600,000. of his own money to fight those who want to see his birth certificate. If he is a Citizen of the US. why not just answer the opposition and show it? When he is found out to have knowingly mislead this gullible country, he should face criminal charges not unlike those of High Treason. But lets no stop there, so should those who added this man to power.

Oh hell yeah!

Bush scared me, but Obama terrifies me. He's no more qualified to run this country than Bugs Bunny or Elmer Fudd. Badee Badee Badee, That's All Folks!

He's Destroying America

Voters were mesmerized (think Hitler) and didn't study him well enough. He's a disaster.

Response to Lou Pritchett

Pritchett if you are so "scared" of President Obama why are you still in this country? You have made plenty of money so why don't you go to one of the safe "islands" where you don't have to pay taxes, etc. Speaking of Obama's military experience; you have none either, neither did George Bush junior nor dick cheney and rumsefeld so whats your point? You should get your wide bottom on out of the country and take all of those other wackos' with you.
—Guest Jerrell

Worse than Nixon?

If Mr. Pritchett has lived under 13 Presidents (and one look at his picture on his website leaves me with little doubt) then he must have lived under the Nixon Administration. Mr. Pritchett would have us believe that having the President and his top advisors committing felonies such as burglary, obstructing justice and illegally harassing political opponents didn't scare him as much as Obama. Is this some kind of joke? It's one thing to hustle management consulting gobbledy-gook to a bunch of credulous corporate managers, but I'll be a Cuban burglar before I spend anytime listening to anything this snake-oil salesman has to say about politics.
—Guest aardvark

If you are so afraid - move to Canada!

Pritchett's ramblings show just how easy it is to get to the top of a large company. What he is really afraid of is having his taxes raised back to pre-Bush levels. What he is really afraid of is companies like Proctor&Gamble are going to be forced to take measures to protect our environment. And remember Bush/Cheney had NO military experience! Pritchett, if you no longer love America, LEAVE!

Fear for your Rights

Yes, you'd better fear what he and his ilk (party) are doing to our country. And to those of you who answer a question by asking another, you get over it. I am fully aware that facts confuse your sort, and I shall not enter into a debate where the opponent refuses to state facts rather than create more confusion. I fought a war promulgated by the Democrat party long ago, and it was my belief that I was fighting the ideology and political restriction placed on the citizens in that country. Here we are 40 years later, and this moron has undone what it has taken over 200 years to build. And he rewards those in his own party who have taken part and blasts the opposition for similar acts. Blast away, certainly, the guilty, but please take careful aim at ALL that bear that guilt no matter their party affiliation. I am an American first, last, and always. Neither of the two major parties have any legitimate platform or values left what put America first. Politicians be damned!

I love my Country, it's the Governemnt

A bigger government, that's always what the Dem's want, more control over the individual. A more socialist approach, the working class gives to the couch sitters. I'm tired of the BS, as a WAR Vet and 80% Disabled, I hate the idea of still having to work and along my efforts go for higher taxes. History tells us that when taxes exceed 50% and the morals of the country decline, that counrty collapes from the inside. DUH!! Obama never did prove that he is a US BORN citizen, his records are sealed. How did a poor black child get to go on a tour of his homeland? his room mates paid his way?? This man was only a senator for 147 days of actual work, the rest of his time he spent campaining for Pres.. He is all talk and pressures everybody to do his bidding, OLD Mafia style. He hasn't done anything that his behind the screen bosses tell him to do, more unions, less productivity, higher taxes, and more $$ more his people. Yeah!! He isn't a real leader, just a nice puppet front.
—Guest Machinegun_Mike

Yet more baseless accusations!

You really think for a second he would be in the position he is if SOMEONE hadn't seen his birth certificate, he SHOULD NOT have to make that public, people just have to believe that the people who matter, the same people who would say I for example couldn't be president, HAVE seen it. Quit whining and spouting this rubbish and get over it!
—Guest UKRich29

He really scares me

I agree 200% with Lou Pritchett. Obama scares me too. And I know what I'm talking about. I've been in this country for over 30 years. I escaped from the USSR, and I know first hand what in reality socialism is. I don't want this country to go that direction. Besides, since when a Kenian born negro has the right to be the President of this country? Call me a racist call me whatever you want, but first show me his long form birth certificate.
