Morons everywhere & not-a-one can think!
- In the UK we have nationalised healthcare and we are not a socialist country, those suggesting this will lead to the US becoming one are ignorant and clueless! And as far as what has happened to GM and Chrysler the motor industry, and the banking industries brought their problems on themselves and the ONLY way they can continue at all is with what has happened now, Chrysler is now part owned by Fiat I believe so that is not government control, okay so it is only 20% now but with an option to up that to 50%. Get a clue people!! Obama is the BEST thing to happen to the US in years. Any downhill motion happening currently is still inertia from W's terms! There are no FACTS to be scared of about Obama so these morons have to resort to spouting baseless accusations!

America's Worst President
- Mr. Obama, I am one of the many american's who DID NOT vote you into the white house. I am appalled at the decisions you have made thus far since taking the position of President . I cant help but feel you have absolutely NO experience at all that qualifies you to run our great country. If you did you would not be making decisions such as releasing the detainee's from GITMO and giving them monies to open new businesses,Like a resturant, as some sort of payment for what you consider being wrongly imprisoned as terrorists who had some part in the attacks on our country on Sept. 11th. Are you completely out of your mind? Or how about the decision to destroy what is without a doubt the greatest healthcare system in the world so you can give us socialized medicine that has been tried , and is still being used in many other countries today, that is so terrible that all of the people who live in the countries that have this type of health care now come to our country for medical treatment !!!

Lou Pritchett letter
- I sent a reply back to Mr. Pritchett disputing his points and what I got back from him was 'Old crap. Please be original if you want to bother me ---Thanks Lou' - so if you don't have the same opinion as him he does not want to listen

The govenment you get
- Politicians, both Republican and Democrat at all levels of government, scare me. Mr. Obama has no franchise on that. He is however the current poster boy. The citizens of this country continue to have foisted on them the law, government policy and bureaucracy, that they vote for. The elections of these politicians is bought and paid for largely by special interests of all persuasions; big business, big labor, environmentalists and religious fundamentalists to name but a few. None of them do that because they are interested one wit in what might be best for the citizens of this country. They do it for personal or group gain, pure and simple. There is only one way I know of to put an end to that insanity. A constitutional amendment that modifies the First Amendment in such a way that it would prohibit campaign financing being provided by any individual, business or group of any kind. An additional amendment would then be required to make all campaign financing paid for through

Lou,you scare me more than anyone
- in the words of southofboston: You scare me because you challenge the right of all Americans who have spent part of their upbringing on foreign soil to call themselves Americans, including the sons and daughters of our service men and women, as well as the children of those in the our diplomatic corps. You scare me because you fail to appreciate the wisdom and judgment of everyday Americans, hiding behind the misguided assumption that good judgment and common sense can only come from “running a company and meeting a payroll”. You scare me because you dutifully repeat right wing talking points in your pronouncements, apparently willing to sacrifice your ability to think critically for the expediency of advancing a message already prepared by others whose primary purpose is not to inform, but to inflame.

I AM Afraid
- Amen to every single word of Mr. Pritchett. I just wish we had a leader who would shout this from the mountain tops and have the guts stand up for the lowly folks like me. Guess what? I'm not one of those people who makes more than 250K, but I'm not gonna get a raise this year, cause the peep's I work for are feeling the brunt of the governments BS and are afraid of what the future holds with this wacko in office. If my boss is gonna pay higher taxes then he's not gonna want to pay me more money. Why can't these morons figure out WHO is going to pay the higher taxes. WE ARE you morons, via lower wages. thanks for listening.

U.S., Republic to Oligarchy
- Lou Pritchett, who worked himself up from soap salesman to head honcho at P&G is "mindless" and a "right wing-nut"? I guess that's what passes for discourse in this dumbed-down, nanny-state country these days. Don't allow or listen to opposing views, just spew invectives and personal attacks at people who don't say things the "left wing-nuts" want to hear. Now that that's been said, what have we solved? Nothing. Obama's still President, the country's still in terrible shape and getting worse, and American self-esteem is at its lowest point in decades. Turning our country into an oligarchy creates more problems as we give up our independence to governmental control and rely less on individual initiative, entrepreneurship, and creativity. As a small-business owner, I cringe whenever people defend the taking over of businesses and banks by the government. This is supposed to be AMERICA. It's too bad that in Obamanation success stories like Pritchett's are gone forever.

Yes very afraid and very concerned.
- I am afraid of Obama. It makes me sad that my grandchildren will have a lower standard of living then my generation has enjoyed. If he is allowed to put in place all the social programs he wants, my children will be paying 60 to 70% of their income in taxes. Just talk to anyone in England, France or Canada, its true. Our government can not manage social security without it going broke, so why would anyone believe they would be able to manage our health care system? Obama is a dictator not a president. He doesn't care about the hard working, over regulated, over taxed middle class. Vote in 2010 for democrocy! Let's clean out the White house and congress and keep the spirit and direction of our founding fathers alive!

Yes, I am afraid of Barack Obama!
- Every word Mr. Lou Pritchett has written, I am in agreement with. It is exactly the way I feel! For the first time in my life, I am afraid in my own country. There have been few people I have discussed this with but the ones I have feel exactly the same way.

Liberals Hate America!!!
- YES, I am afraid of Obama and where he is leading the country. Anyone who thinks Obama is good for this country or that he will lead us down the right path is surely mistaken. When he calls congress to session over college sports we have a serious problem...oops, that already happened, i guess we are already in the midst of an incompetent President. We have more pressing issues to deal with. Take your pick, there are plenty to choose from. Liberals need to remember where we came from. If you want this country to be more like Europe - then move to Europe, and let our government remain American. Do you really think that in writing the constitution our fore fathers thought ideals would have changed so radically to the point things are at now? Have liberals even read the Constitution? It exists to preserve the basic innate human rights and to provide protection to the people. Not to guarantee free health care, food, and a place to live. I work for money to pay for these. You should try it.

what I'm afraid of
- I'm afraid of mindless followers of both parties who listen only to one point of view and parrot the words of that viewpoint. I'm afraid of an out of control government that caters to special interests and ignores the common person. I'm afraid of a society in which civil discourse is no longer the norm. Name calling and foul language bring nothing positive to the table. I'm afraid of those in power who helped create the mess we're in, and who are now in charge of getting us out of it. I'm afraid of a people so willing to sit by and let their freedoms be taken away. I'm afraid of the people in power who are doing the taking. I'm afraid of those who have no sense of self reliance, who are afraid of failure and success, who don't know how to stand on their own two feet and take responsiblity for their lives, and don't want to. I'm afraid of those who believe they are the answer and can do it for them. I'm afraid of a media that has taken sides.Freedom is losing. Don't let it be so.
