Barak Obama is a U. S. citizen because he was born to a U. S. citizen, his mother, and in a U. S. Territory, Hawaii. John McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone to U. S. citizens making him eligible to be president of the U. S., too. His actual birth certificate has already been provided to the media and others. There is no question in mind that this birther business is a bunch of non-sense and an attempt to create a poltical distraction.

If Obama's father was a British citizen from Kenya, regardless of where Obama was born, he should not be considered a "natural born" U.S. citizen. Also, at the time he was born, Hawaii was not yet a State of the U.S., but a possession. How can he get away with this?

Lets make it clear, Hawaii was not ratified as a State until 1959 so Obama's parents or mother was not a US Citizen until 1959, a territory is not a state yet until its Constitution is adopted to the Union of state hood by Fedral supreme court, Both Obama's parents were not Citizen upon his birth, and both did not live as abroad Citizens of Hawaii for 14 years when Brack Obama was born. Other reasons, "Oath of Allegiance," 8 C.F.R. Part 337 (2008)) is an oath that must be taken by all immigrants who wish to become United States citizens. Citizens of U.S.A Territories Do not have Voting rights so that means just because Hawaii became a state in 1959 dose not mean all the people took an oath to become a Citizen. I guarantee most did not sign any oath.

I have read several comments about the man. Color? He's half white, right? backstabbinng? without a doubt! Condesending to a fault! I will say he can give a very nice speech, I really don't believe he means a word of it but it sounds good. I have watched this adminstration spend, take several trips, and do what ever they wanted without reguard for the country. He preaches middle class fairness, only because he wants a vote, he dosen't care! In fact looking at the history he really wants to break the country. I could care less what color anyone is, that was gone a long time ago for most of us. To play the black card is a cop-out! look at the facts, fire the man and get back to fixing the country!!!

It seems odd that from the time OBama announced his running (His grandmother wasn't gravely ill at that time.), until just before his inaguration, no one ever interviewed the grandmother who raised him. Peoople are often interviewed within days or weeks of dying. In almost 20 months, not even one interview? Give us a break! AND isn't is convenient that she died just before his swearing in? How stupid does he think the people in this Country, who have functioning brains are? Obviously, he made sure that nobody got to talk to his grandmother. You would think that he would want the whole country to get to meet the grandmother who loved and raised him. And why aren't there interviews with the aunts & cousins in Kenya? It is Very Obvious & Very sad that with the protection of a certain group, OBama could break any laws that stood between him and the White House. He is successfully the PUPPET to the Socialists Or Communists which is what we called them in the 50's and early 60's.

I does not matter if he is a US citizen. He must be a "natural born citizen". The Supreme Court ruled in the late 1800's that a natural born citizen is "a person born to a Mother and father that are both citizens of the USA". Obama openly declares his father was not a citizen and it says so even on the BC he submitted... HE IS NOT ELIGIBLE! (Sorry I did not capitalize all of the references and pronouns to/of Obama)

Why dwell on the birthing question? Anybody with half a brain knows that you can"t believe an old woman from Kenya who says she was there, even if she is his grandmother...or question his birth cert. even though it lists him as an Afro-American, a term coined by Jessie Jackson twenty years later. Just because he has ties with known terrorists, was pastored by an avowed America hating preacher, had ties with known Chicago-land thugs and hoods, appointed communists, marxists and tax cheats to his cabinet, there is no reson to think he has anything but the best in mind for this great nation. When he finally gets his "Cap and Trade" legislation passed we'll all see, 6 or 7 dollar a gallon gas will cure all of our woes. Middle America, Obama's got your back! He just failed to mention that he has it with a knife in his hand!
