As others have noted, all that Barry S. has to do is show the real certificate. Instead, he has spent millions hiding all of his records, academic and otherwise. Doesn't this make any of you naysayers wonder? He is doing everything to leave us wide open to terrorism (such as saying he will not use nukes to any country that attacks with bioweapons, for example, if they themselves do not have nuclear weapons). Well, there goes one major deterrent. Door wide open. The guy hates the country and all hard-working Americans. He wasn't even raised here. So all else considered, he is not an American at heart and is clueless about American values. Unfortunately, he is an "empty suit" and clearly part of a much larger plan to destroy the country while keeping himself and MO on the Central Cmte. He means to "God damn America" with the help of his Communist Comrades. Fortunately, God is still in charge.

Obviously there is something to hide here, otherwise why would Obama just not come out and show us a real birth certificate and college records? The Certificate of Live Birth from Hawaii is not the same, but you all know that. We are all struggling to believe all of you bleeding heart liberals that keep mocking the people questioning this, but show is the beef. On the other hand, are you better off today than 14 months ago? Obama rushed to sign that 787 billion bill into law in Denver on a Tuesday because "the country could not wait" 14 months later all he can show is 48k temporary census jobs and 123k new jobs from the PRIVATE sector, no government jobs here to show. If he had any brains he would have followed the general consensus, give businesses tax breaks so that they can do what they do best and keep government's claws off what they know nothing about. WHERE ARE THE JOBS?

Is Hawaii a state? So, YES!! Obama is a citizen! There are very strict guidelines in place for determining who is or is not eligible to be elected president of the United States.

How do we know you are a U.S. citizen?We have seen Obama's birth certificate. Show me yours. How do I know your family members are legal U.S. citizens. Show all birth certificates. Land was taken from the indians. Why do you feel that this is your land or country. I'm believe you are not an indian.

If he is so determined to not show us his birth certificate, then I have to ask "Why not?" But he certainly doesn't act like someone who has our interests at heart. He has shown no transparency while trying to ram his own version of bills down our throats. He shows no appreciation of our history and our beginnings and certainly not our constitution. He thinks our constitution is fluid and we need to move forward, get smart, and ignore the parts he doesn't like. He attacks the supreme court when he doesn't like their rulling-- there is supposed to be a separation of power, for our own good. His lack of American beliefs and knowledge and morals scare me. He is amassing a huge bunch of people that were not elected and have radical ideas--some openly belong to the communist party--and he is letting them make our policies. He doesn't seem like an American citizen to me.

if this were true, don't you think the GOP would have paid an army of lawyers to uncover everything and stop him from taking office? if there's a cogent argument why the legitimate GOP would not have done a full investigation, I'd like to hear it. I voted for him, and so far I have been less than impressed with stasis on any number of fronts, but the question of his legitamacy in holding the office is beyond reproach. his political opponents should focus on real issues, e.g. why so many of his economic advisers are Goldman Sachs alums, rather than give in to the far-right fringe pushing the "he's not a citizen, he's Karl Marx," etc. etc. ad nauseum.

I can get mine for $10 in 10 minutes or less.... Why the hell can't he? Cause he HAS NO AMERICAN BIRTH CERTIFICATE that is legal. If he is a legally born US citizen, why all the mysterious behavior? This is easy to resolve. He either has a full blown birth certificate or he doesn't. Cough up or step down. He promised transparency. It's time to deliver.

According to all relevant legal and historic documentation and records, to be a Natural Born Citizen one must be born in the country to two citizen parents. Mr. Obama's place of birth has not been established. However, we do know that his mother was a citizen and that his father was not. Therefore, Mr. Obama is not qualified under our Constitution to be President. Once his place of birth is established we may discover that he is not even a citizen. If he was born outside of the USA - Mombasa, Kenya seems to be the most likely scenario - his mother was not old enough at the time to pass on citizenship. (See current State Dept. documentation pertaining to citizenship.) In any case, Obama is not eligible. He needs to be removed from office immediately and brought to justice along with all of the people who have knowingly assisted in the perpetration of this fraud against the people and assault on our Constitution.
