USURPER
- Our Forefathers had great wisdom as they painfully thought of every scenario possible our country could be destroyed. A usurper occupying the presidency was one of them. Why doesn't Obama follow the "Truth and Transparency" pledge he promised all 300 million of us? Why not follow the same standard he promised when he also said that his administration would keep everything up front and visible so that the people can hold his administration accountable. We're not asking for him to put confidential nuclear technology on the table, we're asking for the stinking long form birth certificate. His campaign posted a short form which does NOT prove natural born status as many of these have been issued to children born abroad as long as their parents were Hawaiian citizens. Long Form BC is the standard to get in little league baseball. I've never even seen a short form before until Obama came around. Why would anyone provide a short from unless they don't have a long form? Neither does he.

- He would have never made it through the system and into the oval office. Something this specific is not going to be hidden from the powers that wanted him gone. So - except for hoax emails & websites, they can't prove he is not a legitimate citizen. He does NOT need to prove he is. Give it up. Obama is, focused, determined, and a President who is (finally) intellectually superior to the vast majority of us. I sleep better at night. The only nightmares that still haunt me are "religious" fanatics and white supremacist hate mongers gathering to form anti-Obana "clans" out there seeking to bring him down. By hoax or by actions. Why anyone would hate that deeply because of someones skin tone at this point is history is deeply disappointing. And you "birthers" are putting yourself in some bad light hanging around these hate-filled rallys and forwarding emails full of lies. Frankly... I don't care where he was born. He is a born leader. He is what the world needs now.

How About The Right's Legitimacy?
- I continue to be amazed by the endless stream of stuff like this that gets circulated by so-called patriotic and religious Americans. Does anyone ever bother to check before forwarding? It takes maybe two seconds to Google and then another minute to get beyond the endless blogs that repeat the same thing. With few exceptions crap like this emanates from the uber-right. Does the new patriotism justify the ends by whatever means? If left unchecked there is no difference between this and, for one example, the lies that will keep the old regime in power in Iran.

If it's not - why not end this?
- If he was born an American citizen, which is what these questions and claims are about - why not simply provide the records to prove it? By refusing to bring forth those documents - he gives these claims legitimacy.
